Charlene loved the edwardian-inspired tiered skirt of my Wild Lupin dress, and we made some changes to the top to make a gown perfect for her.
We created a simplified, slimline version of the top – making it more closely fitting and entirely covered in lace, and swapping the floaty lace trim for a tiny trim which I enclosed in the neckline. We also added sheer lace sleeves which finished just above the elbow, and a diagonal train to the skirt.
“The amazing lady who made my wedding dress and ended up becoming a dear friend in the process only went and travelled from Sheffield to celebrate our wedding with us! Kate doesn’t only make wedding dresses, she takes the time to get to know you and no amendment/bridezilla demand is a demand too far! She won’t stop until you’re 100% happy and she’s also a flippin’ brilliant person. I love her and cannot recommend and thank her enough for everything she’s done. So much so that Simon is genuinely a bit jealous because I talk about her all the time!”
