Rachael wore my Larkspur separates: lace top, panelled silk-satin skirt and silk-satin slip.
We changed the skirt’s silk from pale pink to a more refined and subtle oyster colour, which I cut a little longer at the back so it trailed subtly.
The lace top became a boat-neck at the front and a deep V at the back, finished with a bound silk edging. I added a line of pearl buttons down the top’s back, and used the lace’s beautiful scallop edge along the hem, which Rachael wore un-tucked, with a narrow, pale silver silk sash around her waist.
“Thanks so much for everything – I loved wearing the dress. It got so many compliments.”
