Rachael wore my Larkspur separates: lace top, panelled silk-satin skirt and silk-satin slip.
We changed the skirt’s silk from pale pink to a more refined and subtle oyster colour, which I cut a little longer at the back so it trailed subtly. The lace top became a boat-neck at the front and a deep V at the back, finished with a bound silk edging. I added a line of pearl buttons down the top’s back, and used the lace’s beautiful scallop edge along the hem, which Rachael wore un-tucked, with a narrow, pale silver silk sash around her waist.
Rachael and Rich married at The Millennium Galleries in Sheffield. Their day was relaxed and full of fun, with lots of readings and speeches delivered by their favourite people. Rachael swapped her beautiful high heels for her trusty Converse to better enjoy herself, and finished the night crowd-surfing over their guests!
