Vicky loved the textures of silk and lace bridal fabrics, but wanted to use them to create a coloured wedding dress instead of sticking to a traditional bridal palette.
Vicky decided on a blue-green chiffon and a grey French lace, and we designed a high-necked, long-sleeved gown with a small diamond shaped waist panel underneath a lightly gathered bust, over a full swooshy skirt with a petite puddle train. The lace was left sheer across the upper back, the décolletage and on the sleeves, and I added three antique silver glass buttons at each wrist.
“I just wanted to say thank you SO MUCH again for making my beautiful wedding dress. My appointments with you were hands down the best bit of the wedding planning process, I had so much fun and I’m really grateful that I could talk through the whole outfit with you and show you the pretties I was buying to go with it (like a magpie bringing shiny things to a nest!!).
Gareth and me were so pleased you could come to the wedding. When we were opening our cards afterwards I showed him the card you put in with my dress and he burst into tears (in a good way!).”
