Astrantia dress

Astrantia is a delicate, romantic French lace gown, easy-to-wear and versatile, and perfectly suited to a relaxed, bohemian bride. This two-piece look combines a lace overdress and silk slip.

Details

Worn over a champagne-coloured silk-satin slip, Astrantia’s intricately patterned French lace overdress flows gently to the floor. Cut with a plunging back V, balanced by a high front neckline, the top blouses gently at the waist, where it is finished with a thin ribbon sash.

The skirt is gathered – lightly at the front and slightly more so at the sides and back – and finishes at the floor with the lace’s scallop edging. Half-sleeves also finish with scallops, which contrast the clean lines created with silk bound seams at the neckline.

The Astrantia overdress is also pictured below worn over the fuller Bluebell silk gown, which kicks out the hem and creates a different - but equally lovely - silhouette.
