Married: Carla + Sam
Carla and I both had six-month old babies when she first got in touch, so we immediately bonded over tales of sleep-deprivation!
Carla had seen a couple of dresses elsewhere that she liked very much, but she wasn’t head over heels in love with either. We worked together to combine the elements of each that she liked the best, playing with different silk and lace combinations to make it uniquely hers.
Carla and Sam’s wedding was a tale of two very different venues: the sumptiously detailed period reception rooms at Sheffield Town Hall, and the super-modern light-filled space at The Millenium Gallery. The couple added decorations to suit their emerald green colour scheme to make the bright white Gallery space their own, including home brew wedding favours with labels created by graphic designer Sam.
Baby Betty (now one-and-a-half) and her big brother Manny were the perfect mini-maid and mini-best-man at this family-focused, fun filled wedding. And Manny’s speech about how happy he was to have Carla as his step-mum totally stole the show!
Huge thanks to Kate Cooper Photography for these stunning images.
