Agapanthus Dress
The Agapanthus silk wedding gown is a modern, subtle beauty. The clean lines of the dress’s top are balanced with fluttered sheer sleeves, and a gently flowing skirt creates a soft, romantic silhouette.
Design Details
Designed to make the most of the opaque satin georgette outer layer, Agapanthus’s inner top layer plunges to the waist, mirrored at front and back. The georgette creates matching boat necklines, but the suggestion of the plunging Vs draws the eye and elongates the frame, while keeping the wearer fully covered.
Softness is introduced with fluttering sheer georgette cap sleeves. The dress is angled under the arms to echo the diagonal lines of the plunging necklines.
Agapanthus’s skirt features a pair of inverted box pleats at the front and back to add fullness gently, and flows down to create a puddle train. The dress closes at the back with a row of silk covered buttons and roleau loops.
A row of English-made lace trim - produced in a ninth-generation family-run factory - is inserted in the waist seam to finish this modern, understated gown.
