Bridgette
Bridgette loved Dahlia from the start, but loved the idea of a blush-toned gown, and so we decided to line her dress in the most beautiful blossom pink silk-satin, a subtle tone which worked wonderfully with Dahlia’s ivory lace. We swapped the original square back of the dress for a V, which I part-lined with silk, finishing high enough for Bridgette to wear a bra. We lengthened the floaty sleeves a touch and secured them further around the shoulders, to provide a little more coverage than the original version did.
Bridgette added one of my sparkly braid belts which I appliquéd onto a complementary blush toned ribbon to finish her dress perfectly.
Bridgette and Andy were married with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Shropshire’s stunning Corbet Wood, and headed to Pimhill Barn to celebrate with their children, families and friends.
“Thanks Kate, yesterday was perfect. My dress had so many wonderful comments and I felt fantastic in it. Thank you so much Kate – a beautiful person who made a beautiful dress.” Bridgette
