CHRISSIE
Chrissie loved the Lilac combination of silk slip and lace over-dress, but preferred the heavyweight silk-satin of my standalone bias-cut gowns. We put the two together to make a dress just right for her; the silk slip top neckline above a skirt with back flare and a puddle train, with Lilac worn over the top. We added a waist seam to get a closer fit and hold everything together, and a row of satin covered buttons ran down the back on top of the lace and silk. A pale silver waist sash and lace trimmed veil finished everything off beautifully.
Chrissie and Jonty were married at Brosterfield Farm in the Peak District, on a gloriously sunny day luckily enough, after a downpour the day before. Their ceremony was outside in front of a floral covered archway, overlooking the surrounding rolling hills and moors, and food and dancing took place in tipis. This pair made the most of the stunning farm site and views for their beautiful portraits.
“Thank you so much for my beautiful wedding dress! I could not have been more smitten with it – thank you for helping me feel like the best version of myself on my wedding day. I honestly felt amazing in it and so many people commented on how unique and beautiful it was! It was lovely getting to know you throughout the process, you are amazing and deserve every success that comes your way!” Chrissie
