Ciara
Ciara found me through her friend Kristy, whose dress I’d made the year before. Ciara settled on Hollyhock, with a few bespoke changes. We changed the silk-lining from the original pale pink to ivory, fully lined the back and shaped it into a V, and lengthened the sheer lace sleeves. Ciara added a lace trimmed veil and a lovely pair of Rachel Simpson shoes (which she swapped for Superga by the end of the night). Work commitments meant she spent much of the run up to the wedding in New York, but we managed to push fittings back and everything worked out just fine.
Ciara and Darren were married at Brosterfield Farm, and had a little help from Inner City Weddings to get everything organised and beautifully installed. The weather was glorious, they were able to have their ceremony outside, and guests were able to take advantage of their superbly stocked gin bar and relax in giant deckchairs out on the grass.
