Francesca adored the Astrantia lace overdress immediately, but preferred dresses with a more A-line silhouette. We put the Bluebell flared skirted slip underneath Astrantia – instead of the original bias-cut slip – and loved the result. Francesca opted to have slightly less flare in Bluebell’s skirt, and for the lace top of Astrantia to be more closely fitted, so we made a special version just for her.
Francesca lives and works in Sheffield, but headed home to Worcester to get married. She and Tom chose a church wedding at Tardebigge Church, then celebrated afterwards back at her dad’s place, where they’d had a marquee set up for them in the garden, which looked incredible filled with flowers. Their puppy charmed all the guests, and their portraits taken out in the surrounding fields and woodland are just gorgeous. I think this wedding features more wild dancefloor pictures than I’ve ever seen in a set of wedding photos, so it certainly looks like everyone had a marvellous time!
