Charlene
Charlene loved the tiered skirt of my Wild Lupin dress, and we made some changes to the top to make it perfect for her.
We created a simplified, slimline version of the top – making it more closely fitting and entirely covered in lace, and swapping the floaty lace trim for a tiny trim which I enclosed in the neckline. We also added sheer lace sleeves which finished just above the elbow, and a diagonal train to the skirt. Worn with a cathedral length veil and gold locket, Charlene looked the epitome of elegance.
Charlene and Simon had a full Catholic mass at their church ceremony, then headed to the stunningly beautiful Stockport Town Hall for the wedding breakfast and reception. The day had lots of Italian and Irish influences to reflect their family backgrounds, and a big nod to their excellent music taste with tables named after some of their favourite bands. Plus huge light up letters and the best music on a wedding dance floor I had ever heard! Charlene was kind enough to invite me along to celebrate with them, and it was an honour to be a part of this well-loved couple’s big day.
“I just want to say thank you for making the dress of my dreams and for always being so patient, attentive and going above and beyond the ‘call of duty’. Its been a pleasure. Also, thank you for making the journey to celebrate our wedding with us! It meant so much to us and made us feel so special! Its been truly fabulous getting to know you and your lovely family and I hope we can keep in touch for a long time to come. Thanks again for everything.” Charlene
