Joanna
Joanna wore my Camellia silk slip beneath the Larkspur panelled silk skirt, which we made up in oyster coloured silk satin instead of the original pale pink shade.
On top, we created a bespoke version of my Lilac over-dress – to be worn tucked in, so much shorter than the original, and with a pair of beautifully floaty half-sleeves and a row of delicate pearl buttons at the back.
Joanna and Steven were married in what she referred to with a smile as “the shed” – a corregated steel barn in Steven’s parents’ garden in Buxton. Apparently lots of people thought she was crazy to want to get married there – it was a little rough around the edges to say the least – but Joanna could see its potential and set about clearing away the mess and planning the décor to transform it into something amazing – which as you can see she absolutely did!
“I had a lovely day yesterday. The dress was perfect and everyone had such lovely things to say about it. Thank you so much for all your help. I will be highly recommending your genius work to future brides.” Joanna
