Julie
Julie was unsure she wanted a ‘proper’ wedding dress initially, as she and her partner Ash were planning a very low-key wedding. She fell for my Peony separates when she came to see me, and settled on them after returning for a second visit with her mum and mum-in-law to be. We added three-quarter sleeves to the lace top, and changed the round neck to a slash-neck. I made the slip top with a waist seam and a side zip, in order that it fitted perfectly over her petite but curvy frame.
Julie and Ash married at the gorgeous wood panelled ceremony room at Sheffield Town Hall, and then headed for a private party at the Harland café - an old red brick industrial building with a lovely enclosed courtyard - to celebrate.
“Thank you for making me a beautiful wedding outfit – one that fits me! And for all the chats along the way…” Julie
