Leanne
Leanne loved my Dahlia dress from the start, but we tweaked the necklines and the sleeves to make a bespoke version perfect for her. We swapped the front boat-neck and the square open back for V necks, keeping the back V just high enough so she could wear a strapless bra underneath. The original sleeves are gathered but only attached at the shoulders. We extended them into full gathered sleeves finishing just above the elbow. I also added pearl buttons down the top’s centre back, and a cream ribbon sash at the waist.
Leanne and Nathan were married at St Margaret’s church in Warrington, and headed to Dunham Massey Village Hall afterwards to celebrate. Leanne and her ‘decoration committee’ did a wonderful job dressing the hall, and their cake was baked by Nathan’s mum – who skills I can personally vouch for, as Leanne was kind enough to deliver me one of her incredible carrot cakes as a thank you gift – she knows the way to my heart.
