Georgia in Sweet Violet
An elegant silver bias-cut silk cowl neck wedding gown
Georgia chose our classic 1930s-inspired bias-cut silk Sweet Violet gown, made for her in the beautiful pale silver shade that we created the studio sample gown in. She added a cowl back cape for extra drama at the back – I love how the cowl shape is echoed front and back, but the effect is so different in the ethereal tulle. Georgia also selected one of my favourite Debbie Carlisle headpieces from our studio selection – the small Rosemary made in silver wire with freshwater pearls.
Relaxed, romantic wedding in a Cambridge farmhouse
Georgia and Joe chose the romantic, rustic setting of South Farm on the Cambridge and Hertfordshire border for their celebrations. This stunning farmhouse with its blue woodwork made the perfect backdrop for their portraits, and paired perfectly with the gorgeous blue bridesmaids dresses Georgia chose. The converted barn venue is set in twenty acres, and includes an organic small-holding providing many of the ingredients for their menus.
