A simple silk slip wedding dress styled with a lace edged cape veil
I think Hannah had fallen for our lace trimmed cape veil before she decided on the dress! Once the cape excitement had settled a little, she chose the simplicity of the Cosmos silk slip wedding dress, with its clean, minimal lines and plunging low back. Hannah opted to keep the subtle pale silver shade of the silk-satin our sample Cosmos is made up in – it’s a very delicate colour that can almost look ivory in some lights. Contrasted against the ivory tulle and lace trim of the cape veil she’d chosen, the pairing was perfect.

Heartfelt wedding celebration with relaxed, garden party vibes
Hannah married Sam at Wood Lane Countryside Centre here in Sheffield. This lovingly restored Georgian building was formerly a farmhouse, and retains heaps of picturesque charm. Theirs was a relaxed and heartfelt laid-back day, featuring seasonal florals from Bloom Sheffield. The surrounding gardens are dreamy – they really made the most of them with lawn games for guests, and as the perfect backdrop for some gorgeous portraits.
