Dress details
Hollie loved our vintage-inspired bias-cut silk gown Honeysuckle as soon as she tried it on. During the making process we decided on a few bespoke design changes to make it absolutely perfect for her. We added a pair of fluttery silk half-sleeves, which led to the decision to insert the lace trim into the back V and have the scallop edge facing up, rather than hanging down as it usually does on this style. Hollie kept the oyster coloured silk-satin and antique-toned French lace trim as used on the original design.
The Wedding
Hollie and Mike married at Manor Mews – a lovingly restored barn venue in Norfolk, surrounded by farmland. Their ceremony and reception took place in the Great Barn – a striking hall-like room with rustic beamed ceilings and exposed brick walls, lit up on one side with a wall of fairy lights.
