Jane loved a few of my bias-cut styles, but couldn’t find one that was perfect for her, so we made her a version that was. Basing the shape on Lily, we swapped the V front for a boat neck, added lace cap sleeves and a matching belt based on Viola’s. Jane chose our heavyweight sea-pearl silk-satin for her dress, and opted for a complimentary champagne-toned lace for the sleeves and belt. (I loved this combination so much I created a style called Lavender based on it.) A last minute decision to add one of our lace edged mantilla veils proved to be an excellent one, finishing the dress off perfectly.
After delaying for a year due to Covid, Jane and Alex were finally able to have their winter wedding in December, at the beautiful Hornington Manor Farm.
