Dress details
Jess is an architect, and opted for the clean lines and modern simplicity of our Cosmos silk-satin slip dress in bright ivory. She added one of our incredible rose lace edged cape veils for impact, and to create that beautiful draping silhouette. Jess accessorised in her own inimitable cool and quirky style, with an epic crown and heart shaped earrings. Jess chose a stunning fuchsia pink pair of Jimmy Choo heels, and so we decided to crop the front hem of her dress to show them off properly. We kept Cosmos’s train long at the back, creating a hi-low hem perfect for showing off those killer heels.
The Wedding
Jess and Sam exchanged their vows at Sheffield’s iconic Botanical Gardens. The weather was kind to them, meaning their guests were able to assemble outdoors while they were married under the glasshouse doors. After some portraits among the tropical plants, they headed to their reception venue Trafalgar Warehouse in the city centre. This industrial events space had been transformed for them by Inner City Weddings with draping fabric in orange, pink and red, complementing the tones of the hanging floral installation from Swallows & Damsons.
