Dress Details

I was recommended to Kate by her hairdresser – my studio neighbour Billie of Wilhelmina’s Finishing Rooms – who was on hand on the wedding day to style Kate’s hair. Kate kept her wedding day look supremely simple and elegant, in our classic Lily gown in ivory heavyweight silk-satin, complemented with a clean and modern picot edge veil. Lily’s bias-cut design gives a nod to the glamour of the 1930s, but the clean lines add an element of modern simplicity.

The Wedding

Kate and Pete put on a gloriously colourful, joy-filled celebration at Edale Gathering, after a ceremony at the nearby Church of the Holy & Undivided Trinity. The two venues are a short walk apart, and this pair hired a brass band to entertain their guests enroute. Kate and Pete created an eclectic and cosy space to celebrate at Edale Gathering, thanks to some excellent furniture styling by Modular Moods. And the inflatables outside on the fields made sure young and old guests alike had plenty of fun.
