Katie
Katie fell in love with Foxglove straightaway, but preferred the paler ivory silk to the champagne and gold used on the original version. To work over the ivory silk, Katie chose a floral lace - which I use on my Wild Lupin gown. We overlaid the lace on the top, and trapped the lace’s scallop edge down the front and back V neckline. Katie paired her gown with her favourite heeled Dr Marten boots, and added leather biker jackets for her and her four bridesmaids too.
Katie and Gary were married at Edale Parish Church, then headed on foot with their guests – plus a boom box and a banner! – to The Gathering. Katie made so much of the decor herself – tonnes of macrame, embroidery and sign writing – and did such a beautiful job styling the venue.
