Dress details

Lauren got in touch way back at the end of 2019 to arrange to come and see me. I’d made her friend Jo’s Wild Lupin dress even further back in 2015, and it was lovely to see Jo again for Lauren’s first try-on.

Lauren chose a combination of three pieces from our versatile bridal separates collection – Lilac lace top, Larkspur panelled silk-satin skirt in pale pink, worn over Camellia silk slip in champagne. She added a slim bugle beads belt and a lace edged veil to finish her elegant look off beautifully.

Lauren removed her Lilac top and veil for the evening celebrations, giving her two looks from one outfit, which is a massive win in my book!

The Wedding

Lauren and Neil were originally planning a Summer 2020 wedding in France, but Covid scuppered their original plans. Instead, three years + baby daughter Alma later, they married at the stunning Fforest Farm in Cardigan Bay, Wales.

Fforest Farm was the perfect setting for their relaxed celebrations – a quirky, beautiful set of linked spaces in a tranquil, stunning setting. Married in the tipi and with speeches outdoors in the gardens, the weather really was on their side and they were able to make the most of the dreamy surroundings.

Kind Words

“I’ve finally recovered, decompressed and processed my glorious wedding day and just wanted to get in touch to say thank you for my beautiful gown. I felt so beautiful, confident and importantly, comfortable in it - it made me very very happy. I got so many compliments not just on the dress, but its design and materials as well as the sheer crafts(wo)manship that obviously made it stand out. But really, I just wanted to express my gratitude to you and Kate for bringing so much joy and creativity to mine and Neil’s day - you’re the best.” Lauren
