Lucy
Lucy and Dan were originally due to marry in March 2020, in fact they had to cancel their original date with just a week’s notice, once it became apparent how quickly covid was spreading. Fast forward two years, and these two were finally able to exchange vows in 2022, with their baby son Otis alongside them.
Dress details
Lucy opted for our simple and elegant Lily bias-cut silk wedding gown, and chose for hers to be made in the warm toned champagne-coloured silk-satin. We raised the back V from the waist so that she could wear a proper bra. Lucy had originally planned to wear Lily paired with a vintage jacket she’d sourced, but as the new date approached she ended up popping back over to see me and adding in one of our dreamy, ethereal belt-on tulle and lace skirt trains, which really elevated her look.
The Wedding
Lucy and Dan married at the beautiful Victoria Hall in Saltaire, which they live just around the corner from. The model village is a World Heritage Site, and oozes charm and character.
Kind Words
“Ah Kate we had the BEST day! Just filled with so much joy and fun as everyone was so happy, and the dress was perfect - the skirt made it so dreamy (it was meant to be delayed so I could have it I think!).
My dress was perfect, as was the day and made even sweeter for the wait. Thank you for what you do for women who don’t want the standard wedding dress experience - you made me feel comfortable and my most beautiful self. You’re one in a million!” Lucy
