Dress details
Maddie fell for our floaty sleeved, backless beauty Lunaria on her first visit. She decided to add a bugle beads belt, rose lace trimmed cape veil and Shannon crown from our accessories edit to create a wedding day look that was perfectly her. Maddie did need a second visit to choose between the two shades of hammered silk-satin, settling on ivory over champagne. Lunaria’s square open back showed off Maddie’s tattoo of Sheffield’s much missed iconic cooling towers – framing it perfectly.
The Wedding
Maddie and Dan married at Trafalgar Warehouse – a city centre industrial venue just a couple of streets away from our studio on Milton Street. A colourful, fun-filled day, featuring gorgeous Swallows & Damsons florals. Maddie’s dad suffered a stroke a few months before the wedding, and the pictures of him walking her up the aisle and making his speech are so very moving – seeing the love his family have wrapped around him is just beautiful.
