Dress Details

Alice’s first appointment fell on a snowy day, and after checking in that I could still get in to the studio, she donned her snow shoes and walked in to see me. A couple of our designs caught her eye, but in the end she chose the Chrysanthemum gown – the full circle skirt balanced by the simple wrap top and cutaway back trimmed in Nottingham lace, and those dreamily floaty sheer georgette half-sleeves.

Alice added a picot edge veil from our veil edit and a floral fabric headband made for her by a friend.

The Wedding

Alice and Rich travelled from Sheffield to Oxford for their wedding. Their ceremony was at the completely stunning Queens College. After a short stroll through Oxford’s beautiful streets, they travelled by boat to their reception venue Isis Farm House – a riverside pub with plenty of character.

Kind words

“Firstly, thank you for the super lovely card with my veil. It will be weird not coming for fittings and chats now but OH MY GOD, the dress was magical!!!! I felt incredible all day and obsessed with all the photos so far. A huuuuge thank you for creating my beautiful wedding dress – I felt honoured to be the first Chrysanthemum bride. Keep doing what you’re doing – you are super talented and a wonderful human.” Alice
