Claire opted for my Larkspur silk-satin panelled skirt over a silk-satin slip, and chose to switch the skirt’s original pale pink satin for oyster, which suited her Autumn seaside wedding perfectly. On top, Claire went for a bespoke version of my Lilac lace top – shortened to be worn tucked into her skirt, and with added half-sleeves which really showed off the lace’s heavily detailed scallop edging. We added detail with a row of small pearl buttons down the back of the top, and an oyster silk-satin sash which Claire wore around her waist.

Claire and Neil were married at the Polurrian Bay Hotel in Cornwall. The hotel is perched on top of a cliff and overlooks a sandy beach: such a stunning place to get married. Claire’s had a soft spot for this part of Cornwall since she was a child, and I can see why. Claire and Neil chose Stewart Girvan to take their pictures because they loved the way he captured the Cornish landscape in his photographs – his portraits of them out on the beach are absolutely heavenly.

“Thank you so much for my beautiful dress. You’re brilliant!” Claire
