When Stacey first came to see me she was torn between two dresses she'd seen elsewhere, so we combined her favourite elements from each to create something uniquely hers.

Stacey loved the gold silk and ivory lace tiered skirt of my Wild Lupin dress, but wanted a version that was less fussy. We couldn’t find a lace that felt totally right for her, so I appliquéd a lace scallop edge onto a polka dot tulle to make the fabric for the skirt’s tiers, and used the polka dot tulle for the top, edging the straps and neckline in a more delicate lace trim.

For Stacey's dress I made a tiered lace skirt – similar to Wild Lupin’s – but altered the proportions of the tiers and added a gently pointed train at the back to create impact. The dress’s top featured gently curved V necks at front and back, which fitted snugly over the body to the empire waistline. The waist was accentuated with grosgrain ribbon.

Stacey and Will were married in September at the gorgeous Easby Hall in North Yorkshire. Theirs was the first ever wedding to be held in this beautiful venue, and they stretched their celebrations with their closest friends and family over the whole weekend!

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making my beautiful wedding dress. As you know I really struggled to find a shop dress I felt comfortable in but being able to work with you to design my own was the perfect solution. I can’t thank you enough for your time, effort and creativity in helping me have the dress of my dreams. The patience you showed me in the weeks leading up to the wedding was fantastic and I appreciate the amount of hours you spent working on the dress, especially hand-sewing the scalloped edge onto the tulle! I really did feel amazing in my dress and it really suited the feel of the day. I received so any lovely comments from all the guests and Will thought I was the most beautiful bride – not that he’s biased at all!” Stacey
