Louise

Louise had originally come to me looking to find a vintage wedding gown, but fell head over heels for Viola and there was no going back! She added a stunning vintage headpiece and veil which looked incredible.

Louise and John’s original 2020 date was pushed back a year, and they decided to go ahead with their wedding in May 2021, with a bigger celebration planned for 2022, all being well. They married at Youlgreave Church, where the vicar got her name wrong (!), then headed back to her parents’ garden to celebrate in the rain with their favourite few. In spite of the vicar and the weather, they had the most brilliant day, and I can’t wait for Louise’s second outing in Viola next year!

“Thank you so much for making me such a fabulous dress!  When I walked into your studio and we started chatting, I knew that I was in safe hands - and stopped worrying that I didn’t feel like an overly ‘bridal’ person. As soon as I tried on ‘Viola’, I felt like ME. The wedding was such a special day (when it finally happened!) and I can’t wait to wear the dress again for the second part of our wedding next year! Kate, you’re the best - and I’m so excited that you are making my sister’s dress too.” Louise
