Philippa got in touch with the loveliest email: “My friend Rebecca wore one of your dresses for her wedding 5 years ago and I honestly haven't been able to stop thinking about it since then. I love the elegance and beautiful lace work of your designs and I would love to come and try some on.”

Luckily for me she liked my dresses just as much in person and opted to wear Lunaria on her wedding day, which she paired with one of our lace trimmed veils and a stunning headpiece.

After delaying their date for four months due to the pandemic, Philippa and Ed were delighted to be able to marry in September. Their wedding was at the divine Bourton Hall in Warwickshire, and looks like a glorious, family-filled affair. Plus - newsflash - I am told that it is very possible to run a relay race in your Lunaria gown when it is insisted upon by your nieces. So that’s a relief.

“Thank you so much for my beautiful dress! I felt amazing in it and had the best time swishing around like a Queen. I’m so grateful for the work you (and Kate and Katie) put into it and I’m so glad I got to wear one of your incredible designs.

I will be honoured to be on your website! I remember looking through it at all the brides mid lockdown and hoping to come and try on your dresses (once I had convinced my mum that Sheffield was definitely not too far to travel for a wedding dress). I’m so glad I got to wear Lunaria for our day :)” Philippa
