Dress details

It was Polly’s mum – Sue - who first came across my dresses, and got in touch to find out more on behalf of her daughter. Just as her mum had, Polly loved the look and feel of our bias-cut silk gowns, and Viola especially, which was the one she decided was right for her. Instead of Viola’s original lace cap sleeves, Polly preferred a more enclosed sleeve shape, and we created a pair of short puff sleeves with subtle gathers at the shoulder and hem, finishing with a buttoned cuff just above her elbow. Polly decided to omit Viola’s belt, and we lowered the back V neckline to finish above the waist, the open back balancing the fuller sleeves perfectly. Polly added one of our rose lace trimmed veil to complete her look.

The Wedding

Polly and Greg married at St Andrew’s Church in Chipping Norton, a picturesque church in the pretty village of Kingham, in the Cotswolds. Afterwards they celebrated in style at The Cotswold Field of Dreams – a gloriously situated blank canvas for hosting a marquee wedding, complete with panoramic views of the Cotswold valley.

Kind Words

“Still feels like a dream, can't thank you enough for creating my stunning dress.” Polly

“Polly and Greg are away on their honeymoon but I wanted to let you know that the beautiful dress you made for her was everything we hoped for and more. She felt fantastic in it and everyone agreed she looked stunning. Thank you so much.” Sue
