Dress Details
Rachael loved the subtle sparkle of our Angelica gown – perfect for her elegant winter wedding. The contrast of the two fabric textures we use in Angelica work so well together – the shimmering sequin top and sand-washed silk-satin skirt – and the gentle flow of the three-quarter circle skirt moves so well. Angelica is originally designed with a high front neckline to contrast with the cut-out V back, but Rachael preferred a V at the front, and her version worked beautifully.
The Wedding
Rachael and Becky married in December at Burtonfields Hall on the outskirts of York. Their ceremony and meal took place in the Billiard Room – a stunning space with an ornate ceiling – and the brides and their guests made the most of the Hall’s other beautifully decorated rooms and grounds too. Rachael’s sequins were a wonderful choice alongside the sparkly Christmas lights. Rachael and Becky’s dresses worked so well together, with neither overpowering the other – a perfect partnership!
