Rachel was late ordering her dress – she’d enquired a while before, but my emailed reply had ended up in her Spam folder, and she only discovered it months later. Luckily we were able to fit her in, and she made the journey over for appointments from Belfast. It was Dahlia that stole Rachel’s heart, and a few tweaks made it perfect for her. We extended and fully attached the sleeves, raised the height of the back V and added scallop edge and buttons & roleau loops for her. Rachel accessorised with one of our silk hair bows in a soft crepe-de-chine.

Rachel and Jun were married at gorgeous The Royal Belfast Golf Club, and games featured centre-stage at their celebration. And getting to ride around the grounds on a ‘just married’ golf buggy seems pretty perfect to me.

“I felt completely myself in it – but just the very best, shiniest version! – and that was exactly what I'd wanted. I'd been finding it hard to picture the sort of wedding we were planning before coming to see you, because none of the dresses I'd previously tried on felt very me, but after deciding on Dahlia (after a bit of dithering, because obviously I wanted to wear ALL of your gowns), everything began to fall into place.

I had so many compliments throughout the day, and even the few Sheffield sceptics were completely won over! Best decision ever... and my silk bow was just the dream finishing touch.” Rachel
