Something Blue Editorial

Editorial

This collaborative editorial shoot with photographer Emma Pilkington and hair & make-up artist Sarah Morten is a gentle beauty.

Emma chose the concept of ‘something borrowed, something blue’, but wanted to make images that would appeal to brides who don’t always like to play it traditionally. The pops of blue throughout the shoot are a more unexpected ways to add colour on the wedding day. Perfect for fashion forward brides, who relish the stylishly understated.

Dress details

The romantically styled shoot features my Lunaria and Mimosa gowns, Cosmos and Bluebell silk slip dresses, and Phlox and Hyacinth separates. All are paired with silk hair bows we made especially for this shoot, stunning embroidered veils by Daisy Sheldon, or a striking lace-edged cape veil by Helen Martin. And Harriet Wilde’s delectable blue velvet shoots finish every look off perfectly.

This editorial was featured on the gorgeous Love My Dress blog - you can read the post here.

I’ve collaborated with Emma and Sarah on two previous editorials: Silk and Stone & Sand and Lace
