Dress details
Aimee travelled over to me from her home in Caerphilly, Wales, having fallen for my dresses online. Thankfully she loved them in person too - the Thistle bridal separates combination was the one Aimee fell for after trying on lots of options in the studio. Thistle combines a pearl-toned silk-satin slip dress and a delicate French Chantilly lace long sleeved top, featuring a subtle botanical motif and pearl buttons all the way up the back. The pearl-coloured silk worked so well with Aimee’s colouring.
Aimee’s version was made to fit over a bra – we raised the slip’s back V accordingly and added wider straps which we attached to her bra straps with two pairs of hidden poppers and swing catches – all totally hidden from view.
Aimee added in a petal leaves belt to accentuate her waist, and a picot edge veil which finished her look off beautifully.
The Wedding
Aimee and Rob were married at St Matthews Church in Marstow and celebrated with at Glewstone Court in nearby Ross on Wye. An elegant, sophisticated and relaxed wedding day, surrounded by loved ones.
