Thistle separates
The two-piece Thistle gown partners an ethereal lace overdress with a pearl-coloured bias-cut silk-satin slip. Thistle creates an elegant and graceful, feminine silhouette – this one’s a real understated beauty.
Details
Thistle’s French lace is extremely delicate, featuring a repeated botanical design. Cut with a high boat neck at front and back and finished with silk binding, slim fitting long sleeves add an air of sophistication to this design. The lace’s striking zig zag scallop finishes the hem and sleeve cuffs beautifully. More silk binding runs down the centre back, where satin pearl buttons are widely spaced.
The bias-cut silk slip worn underneath is in a rich pearl tone. The back neckline plunges to the waist from spaghetti straps, and curves smoothly under the arms. A centre back seam allows extra flare to be added into the slip’s skirt, which flows gracefully to the floor and finishes with a puddle train.
Pictured below worn with our slim silver belt and picot edge veil. Thistle’s slip dress is also shown worn alone.
