Ellie
Ellie is the (brand new) sister-in-law of a friend of mine, and it was so lovely to get to know her better in the run up to her wedding. I fell in love with her family a little bit too – she brought both her grandmothers along to fittings with her mum and sister – and you can probably tell by the pictures I’ve chosen that I was really taken with their close relationships.
Ellie chose a bespoke two-piece: the pearly silk-satin slip was Thistle, and she paired it with our Astilbe lace top, which we shortened a little for her so it hit it the hip at the prefect spot. Ellie added in a fingertip length lace edged veil, and hair accessories by Debbie Carlisle.
Ellie and Haydn were married at the beautiful Aswarby Rectory. Their day looks incredible – so much love and laughter in these gorgeous surroundings.
And we shortened Ellie’s slip dress for her so she could take it on honeymoon and re-wear it – such a great idea.
