Dress Details

Amy was due to marry in 2020, but Covid restrictions meant her plans were delayed by two years. She’d already got her dress waiting at home, but decided she wanted to add a sleeved top to make it a better fit for the new Autumn date. Amy loved the look of our silk combination top Phlox online, and travelled up with her dress to see if the pieces worked together. Happily they did, and Amy opted to have us make it exactly as the sample piece fit her – oversized – and for me to post it out to her at home in London. The oversized proportions of Amy’s Phlox transformed her wedding day look, balancing the fitted silhouette of the dress underneath beautifully, with the top’s cut out back detail highlighting the waist detail of her dress.

The Wedding

Amy got ready alongside her favoututes at the Ashton Estate in Northamptonshire. She married Alan at All Saints & St James church in King’s Cliffe, then headed to the Black Horse pub for their reception.
