I've been lucky enough to meet some incredible local wedding suppliers over the last year. So when I wanted to create some beautiful images to showcase my dresses for my website, I managed to secure some rather fabulous help.
Jon Dennis of S6 Photography was the photographer at my own wedding last year, and very kindly agreed to be involved with the pair of photoshoots I had planned. I knew what magic Jon had worked with us on our wedding day, and had no doubt he was the right man for the job!
Jenn Edwards is an amazing wedding hair and make up artist based in Chesterfield. We met at another photoshoot where Jenn had expressed her love for vintage styling. Jenn was super organised and patient in planning out seventeen different looks for the vintage shoot, and worked tirelessly to get the three models ready on the day. For my collection shoot, Jenn was let loose to create the wild curly locks that model Grace wears so well.
I fell in love with Debbie Carlisle's headpieces when I was searching for something special for my own wedding. Debbie lives around the corner from me, and was kind enough to let me have my pick of her beautiful accessories collection for both photoshoots.
Anna from Swallows and Damsons performed her usual floral wizardry with the bouquets for both photoshoots. She managed to create 5 very different looking bouquets for the vintage shoot, and another 3 beauties for the collection shoot.
Chloe from gorgeous Sheffield bridal boutique The White Room helped out with the loan of several pairs of beautiful Rachel Simpson wedding shoes.
The vintage shoot took place at The Chimney House – a sumptuously renovated industrial building located in Kelham Island, Sheffield. Sally from The Chimney House let us have the run of the place and use her gorgeous collection of treasures to style the room.
And last but by no means least, huge thanks to my very beautiful and talented models, Grace Tebbutt, Katy Bangert and Lizzie Vashadiske.
Massive thanks to all of the suppliers who helped make these photoshoots work so well. Both shoots were a huge success for me – providing me with oodles of heavenly images to use on this website and attracting the attention of wonderful wedding blog Love My Dress.
