Dress Details
Kate travelled up from Thetford for her appointments with me, and luckily decided that Corncockle was worth the repeat journey. Kate kept every detail of Corncockle just as it was designed – the gently gathered silk georgette flowing from above and below the fitted waistband, Nottingham lace trim, opaque half-sleeves and those front-fastening buttons finishing at the knee – and we made hers fit her perfectly.
The Wedding
Kate and Paul married at Curradine Barn in the picturesque village of Shrawley in Worcestershire – a red brick 19th century barn surrounded by gardens and courtyards. Their ceremony was at nearby St Mary’s church, after which they walked along country lanes to the barns to celebrate.
