Dress Details
Laura loved our Phlox separates, but felt like the long sleeved top was too much for her, and chose a variation on the simpler Clover top instead. We omitted Clover’s cap sleeves from Laura’s version, and added in the inverted cutaway V at the back hem at the silk bow at the back neckline, to incorporate her favourite elements from the Phlox top. We also gave Laura’s Phlox skirt a puddle train for added impact.
The Wedding
Laura and Jules married at The Maynard in Grindleford. Laura is a part-time florist - Flaura Flowers - in addition to her day job, and loved creating the florals for their wedding. For their portraits, they donned their wellies and headed out to nearby beauty spot Padley Gorge with their dog Oreo, who I know now holds a special place in photographer Ellie’s heart – such a good boy!
