Shona
Dress details
Shona fell for the elegant glamour of our Gladioli bias-cut silk wedding gown. The low-cut cowl back is so impactful on this dress that we kept everything else super-simple to showcase it. The front features subtle diagonal panels from the neckline around the bust, and from the low waist around the hips. Shona kept all the details just as they were designed, and added in an iridescent beads belt to accentuate her waistline.
The Wedding
Shona and Chris celebrated their wedding in Northamptonshire with family and friends. They opted for a barn wedding at Dodmoor House, and married under a stunning floral archway beneath the wooden rafters and exposed brick walls of the Courtyard Barn. These stylishly renovated barns are 400 years old, and are enclosed by a courtyard terrace, lawns and landscaped gardens, and back onto the banks of the Grand Union Canal.
Kind Words
“The dress was absolutely amazing! It was perfect and everyone commented on how beautiful, stylish and unusual (in a good way!) it was. Also the belt - everyone loved that too and they said how it complimented the dress.
I can't thank you enough. I felt privileged to be wearing one of your designs and I will certainly be recommending you to anyone I know that is getting married.” Shona
