Gladioli dress
The Gladioli wedding gown is made from our most luxurious heavyweight silk-satin in a light ivory tone. This understated, elegant bias-cut silk gown is a timeless design, with a sweeping cowl back. A wedding dress with a glamorous, vintage feel – a classic 1930s inspired silhouette.
Design Details
Gladioli’s high front is countered with the drama of a low cowl back.
This simple silk silhouette is constructed from a series of diagonal panels: intersecting at the top of the front neckline, curving around the side seams to frame the cowl back, and creating an apex at front hip height.
The front neckline is shaped to form a flattering boat neck. Slim straps curve over the sholders before forming a gentle cowl.
Dresses cut on the bias are designed to gently hug the figure. The skirt flares subtly from the hip, and is cut with more fullness and length at the back to fall in an elegant puddle train.
Silk covered buttons and roleau loops close up the gown at the side.
Hidden internal ribbons mean the train can be secured up for dancing, as pictured below.
Styled below with iridescent beads belt.
