This styled shoot was a collaboration between Sheffield creatives Emily Joan Photography and Blosm. Shot at The Hide warehouse venue – a quirky industrial events space, above which Robyn of Blosm runs her floristry business from. Emily was keen to capture the connection between a real couple, and invited same sex couple Jade and Sophie along to model on the day.
Concept and styling
Emily and Robyn were inspired by The Hide’s gritty, urban vibes, and Robyn created a candlelit aisle, hanging floral installations, and a beautifully styled tablescape. Emily’s photography style is unconventional and cinematic, and this shoot captures that perfectly.
Dress Details
Jade wears our Snowdrop slip dress, and Sophie wears the Sweet Pea lace top over the Thistle slip dress, styled with gorgeous veils from Rebecca Anne Designs. I love this combination of dresses together – the matte finish of the marocain silk of Snowdrop contrasts with Thistle’s high sheen satin, and the pearl and ivory tones are a great pairing. Robyn worked with the palette so brilliantly to create the stunning bouquet in popping peach and coffee tones.
