It was a pleasure to loan a few pieces for this simple but striking photoshoot at luxe industrial wedding venue The Mowbray. Photographer Becky Payne popped into the studio to choose three looks she felt worked well together for the three models she’d secured for this shoot. Becky chose three two-piece outfits: the silver Cosmos slip paired with the Sweet Pea lace top, Phlox multi-silk top and sequined skirt, and the champagne Camellia slip with the Rosa lace jacket.
Effortless, minimal modern bridal separates
Bridal separates are a great wedding day choice – creating a modern look that seems somehow effortless. They also offer extra wearability beyond the wedding day, lots of our brides have their silk slip dresses shortened so they’re easier to re-wear, and the lace tops look great worn in completely contrasting ways – paired with a black vest and jeans for example.
Striking florals and table styling
The Mowbray tables were set up in their inimitable house style for the shoot – featuring their reclaimed wooden tables covered with loose stem flowers in mismatched vessels. Sheaf Stationary created the elegant invitations and stationary.
Betty’s Flower Club created a gorgeous bouquet packed full of peach toned roses, astrantia, blousy carnations, poppy seed heads and pops of blue Nigella. Florist Cat also provided all the single stems used on the tables and the model images – those heavenly Icelandic poppies.
