When photographer Nicola Dixon asked to loan some of my gowns for a styled shoot she was organising, I jumped at the chance.
I’m a big fan of Debbie Carlisle’s accessories, and was delighted when she asked to borrow some of my gowns for her latest Wild Rose Collection shoot.
This gorgeously styled boho shoot was dreamed up and put together by Anna Straw of Anna’s Attic Event Styling. Irnham Hall near Grantham made the most beautiful location – how amazing is that glasshouse?
My second collaboration with fine art photographer Emma Pilkington was inspired by the chateaus and landscapes in the south of France, but shot on location in the Peak District.
For the second ever Rock Your Shot workshop – as organised by S6 Photography and featuring some of the best wedding photographers – I asked some of my brides to bring along their husbands and play at being models for the afternoon.
Hannah from All Things Borrowed – a brand new furniture hire and styling company in Yorkshire – got in touch to tell me about a shoot she was planning to showcase thir wares, and asked me to loan a couple of dresses for her gorgeous model Nina to wear.
Lucy and Rich were the perfect models for S6 Photography’s latest workshop. Lucy wears my Peony lace top and Larkspur silk skirt beautifully. As usual, Jon has created some fabulous portraits out in the wilds of our wonderful city.
My final seasonal collaboration with Shelley Richmond turned out just beautifully. The sun shone on a clear Autumn afternoon - the first time on these four shoots that we haven’t had to dodge the rain!
Summer Haze is the third of four seasonal collaborations between Shelley Richmond and I. So far it has rained on our shoot days for our winter, spring and summer shoots – I can only hope we’ll be having an Indian summer by the time we get around to our Autumn shoot (but I doubt it).
My exceptionally talented friend Jon of S6 Photography asked me to dress some ladies for a photography workshop he was running. Rock Your Shot took place at The Chimney House in October, and speaking alongside Jon were some of the wedding industry’s top photographers.
I was delighted to have some of my designs included in this edgy bridal editorial at the gorgeously delapidated Abbeydale Picture House. Organised by stylist Natasha Lyons and photographer Georigina Martin, this shoot combines bridal separates of mine and London-based designer Velvet Johnstone, plus lots of delicious Victoria’s Secret underwear.
It was such a pleasure to be a part of this dreamy, light-drenched editorial on a glorious Formby beach. The shoot and location were suggested by photographer Emma Pilkington.
Abbeydale Picture House is an amazing place – an old cinema in the most beautifully dilapidated listed building. The building has had many uses over the years, and the current owners are embracing its part bohemian / part derelict vibes and holding a range of events there.
A little while ago I had the opportunity to collaborate with some incredibly talented women in putting this editorial photoshoot together.
Here are some of my favourite images from my second collection shoot with the wonderful India Hobson. There are so many beautiful shots to choose from its taken me an age to put this selection together – and its still pretty enormous!
So…after 5 months of extremely hard work I’m incredibly happy and proud to present my brand new collection of wedding dresses!
Then came the Spring
with all it's splendor
All its birds and all its blossoms
On the 13th of this month James and I will have been married for 3 years, and on the 13th of next month we'll have been together for 10.
Last month I loaned photographer Shelley Richmond a few wedding dresses for a commercial photoshoot she was working on.
‘We are nearer to Spring
Than we were in September,’
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.
