I’ve arranged to be at a few events this year and wanted to share the details for any brides who are still looking for wedding day inspiration - lots of cool independent suppliers to be found at all the following events.
Open House Weekend at The Mowbray, Sheffield: Saturday 20th January, 11am-3pm
First up, I’ll be back at the wonderful Mowbray for the Saturday of their Open House Weekend in a couple of weeks time. A great opportunity to have a look around both The Mowbray and its sister venue The Chimney House – both perennial favourites with my local couples.
There will be plenty of other ace local wedding suppliers in attendance over the weekend, including photo ninja extraordinaire Maytree Photography, Debbie Carlisle and her sparkle laden accessories, bespoke engagement and wedding band by ace jeweller Cathy Sutherland, Laura Taff Make Up to create on the day bridal beauty, stunning personalised invites and signage by Georgie Marnie Stationary and more.
Tickets are free but pre-registering is advised – the first 100 guests to register will receive a free taster cocktail.

The Un-Wedding Show Sheffield: Trafalgar Warehouse - Sunday 11th February, 11am-4pm
I’m very excited to be a part of the Un-Wedding Show for the first (and second!) time this year – I’ll be at the Sheffield show in February and the Manchester show in May.
The Sheffield show takes place at Trafalgar Warehouse, which is literally round two corners from my studio! This industrial space has been host to some stunning set-ups for my brides – a blank canvas of a venue where you can really let your creativity go wild on the styling front.
Lots of great suppliers lined up, including awesome streamer decor by Streamadelica, fresh and dried flower specialists Blosm, stunning wedding photographers like Rachel Burt Photography, fantastically quirky stationary from Birdhouse 197 and I Like Pens.

The Un-Wedding Show Manchester: Victoria Warehouse - Sunday 19th May, 11am-4pm
The Manchester show is hosted at Victoria Warehouse which is a new venue for me, and judging by their website and socials looks like a total stunner!
Exhibitors include Tara Collette and her excellent handmade banners, music experts Wedding Jam, newly launching audio guest books from I Just Called To Say and some dreamy wedding photographers like Dave Fallon Photography.
